Tour Plan

Day 1 Ahmedabad → Haridwar / Rishikesh

Travel:

By Train: Take the overnight train from Ahmedabad to Haridwar (approx. 20–22 hours).

By Flight: Take a 2-hour flight from Ahmedabad to Dehradun (Jolly Grant Airport), then a short drive to Haridwar/Rishikesh.

Evening:

Arrive in Haridwar or Rishikesh.

Stay: Comfortable hotel or Dharamshala in Haridwar or Rishikesh.

Activity:

Attend the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri (Haridwar) or Triveni Ghat (Rishikesh). A serene and spiritual experience to start your journey.

Day 2 Haridwar / Rishikesh → Guptkashi / Sitapur

Morning:

Early morning drive to Guptkashi (approx. 8–9 hours, 220 km) by cab or tempo traveler.

On the Way:

Stop at Devprayag (the confluence of the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda Rivers which merge to form the Ganga).

Visit Srinagar and Rudraprayag.

Evening:

Arrive at Guptkashi or Sitapur.

Stay: Comfortable hotel or guest house.

Activity:

If time permits, visit the Ardh Narishwar Temple in Guptkashi for a peaceful darshan.

Day 3 Guptkashi / Sitapur → Gaurikund → Kedarnath

Early Morning:

Drive 30 km to Gaurikund, the base for the Kedarnath trek.

Trek / Pony / Palki / Helicopter Options:

Trek: 16 km uphill trek to Kedarnath (6–8 hours).

Evening:

Arrive at Kedarnath Temple.

Stay: Overnight stay near the temple.

Activity:

Attend the Evening Aarti at Kedarnath Temple, a soul-stirring experience amidst the Himalayan beauty.

Day 4 Kedarnath → Guptkashi / Sitapur

Early Morning:

Morning Darshan and Abhishek Aarti at Kedarnath Temple.

After Breakfast:

Trek back to Gaurikund (or take a pony/palki/heli ride if preferred).

Drive Back:

Return to Guptkashi or Sitapur (30 km).

Stay: Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Day 5 Guptkashi → Rishikesh / Haridwar

Morning:

Begin your return journey (approx. 8–9 hours drive).

Evening:

Reach Rishikesh or Haridwar.

Stay: Hotel in Rishikesh or Haridwar.

Activity:

Evening leisure time to relax or visit temples and ghats in the area.

Day 6 Haridwar / Rishikesh → Ahmedabad/ Your Home town

Option 1 (Train): Take an overnight train from Haridwar to Ahmedabad.
