Tour Plan
Morning / Afternoon:
Arrive in Amritsar by train/flight.
Check-in to a hotel in the city center.
Activities:
Jallianwala Bagh – Learn about India’s history and take reflective photos.
Golden Temple (Sri Harmandir Sahib) – Experience the evening Palki Sahib ceremony.
Explore the Local Streets – Try Amritsari kulchas, lassi, and jalebis.
Evening:
Attend Golden Temple Night Aarti – peaceful and visually stunning.
Optional walk around the Heritage Street near Golden Temple.
Morning:
Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit Partition Museum – immersive history of India-Pakistan partition.
Explore Gobindgarh Fort – history, light & sound show, museums.
Afternoon / Evening:
Head to Wagah Border (~30 km, 1 hour drive)

Check out from the hotel.

Travel to Jammu:
By train: 4–5 hrs
By cab: 4.5 hrs
By bus: 5–6 hrs
Afternoon:
Arrive in Jammu.
Check-in at hotel (preferably near Katra, for next day Yatra convenience).
Evening:
Relax at hotel.
Optional: visit Raghunath Temple or explore Katra market.
Early dinner and rest for next day’s Vaishno Devi trek.
Early Morning:
Begin Yatra from Banganga (trek 12 km one-way).
Options: walking / pony / palki / battery car (from Ardhkuwari).
During the Trek:
Visit Ardhkuwari Temple (midway).
Continue trek to Bhawan for Darshan.
Afternoon / Evening:
Darshan at Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine.
Return trek to Katra.
Night:
Rest at your Katra/Jammu hotel (highly recommended after long trek).
Morning:
Breakfast at hotel.
Check-out.
Transfer for departure:
Jammu Airport / Jammu Tawi Railway Station / Bus Stand.
